Adapted from Once Upon A Chef by Jennifer Segal
makes 4-6 bowls
-1/4 cup plus 2TBS soy sauce
-2 TBS vegetable oil
-1 TBS sesame oil
-2 TBS honey
-1 TBS Chile Garlic sauce or Sambal Oelek
- 2tsp fresh grated ginger
- 3 scallions thinly sliced (white and green parts)
- 1 lb sushi-grade tuna diced into 1/2 or 1/4 inch pieces
- 2 cups cooked sushi rice or any other grain or substitute like seaweed salad, or chopped greens of choice
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl except rice, add tuna and chill. To make bowls place rice and top with tuna mixture. Great options for customizing bowls with sliced avocado, cucumber, edamame, ginger, seaweed, veggies or fruit
