- 1 peeled banana( Pro-tip- freeze peeled, ripe bananas to use in smoothies, frozen banana adds a creamy texture to a blended smoothie)
- 1 cup peeled and chopped red apple( 1/2 cup of fresh applesauce can be substituted)
- 1-2 TBS nut butter of choice
- 2 cups almond milk( substitute as needed)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
Add all ingredients to blender and blend well until smooth. Serve as a nutritious breakfast, snack or post workout. Enjoy
